Help Our Cause

The Humane Society of Jackson County is a private, nonprofit  501(c)3 animal welfare organization serving the City of Seymour  for more than 30 years. Each year hundreds of homeless and unwanted animals  arrive at our shelter in need of food, shelter, medical care and  kindness.
 

JC Humane receives no government subsidies or funding from national  humane organizations A portion of our annual income comes from a  contractual agreement with the City of Seymour to house stray animals.  The remainder of our income comes from generous donors just like you!
